Volunteering

Youth Volunteers

Southborough Library is happy to accept Tween & Teen Volunteers. Students entering 6th grade through seniors graduating from high school are welcome to come by the library. Those interesed in volunteerieng are required to speak with Youth Services Librarian Marianna to get to know each other, learn what volunteering at the library entails, and fill out an application form, which requires a signature from a parent or guardian.

Activties include in-person options such as:

 -Teen Program attendance

-Library Program development

-Social Media content assistance

-Library tasks (shelving, sorting, craft prep, labeling)

-Teen Library Team participation

And from home options:

-Book Reviews (2 hours a book)

-Volunteer Project Contributions

Volunteers interested in working on other kinds of projects are welcome to discuss their ideas. Those interested in scheduling a time to meet or people with questions can reach Marianna at msorensen@southboroughma.com.
