| Description: | This is a free 6-week virtual series for children, ages 3-6 to learn STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) concepts through hands-on activities, story time and simple experiments. This is an interactive class using Zoom and parents/caregivers are encouraged to help their child. A list of materials for families to prepare for each class will be provided weekly.The “Young Scientists” series is sponsored by the YMCA Family & Community Partnership (YFCP), which is a Massachusetts Coordinated Family & Community Engagement (CFCE) Grant funded by the Department of Early Education and Care and awarded to the YMCA of Central Massachusetts.
