Get a Library Card

Library Card   Any person who lives, works, attends school, or pays property taxes in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is eligible to receive a library card free of charge.

To get your library card, please bring in a photo identification and proof of your current residence, such as:
  • a valid driver’s license or non-driver's identification with your current address printed on the front
  • a photo ID (e.g., a passport or school identification) with a piece of recent, registered mail or other valid proofs of address
It is helpful for library metrics if each family member registers for their own library card. Your library card is free. The Southborough Library offers free replacement cards.

Southborough Library cards are valid at all consortium libraries in the Central/Western Massachusetts region (C/WMARS).

The default PIN number for patrons is the last 4-digits of the phone number that you registered with.

If you are unable to log in and renew online, please call 508-485-5031 and a staff member will assist you. Please e-mail rdonovan@cwmars.org with any library account related issues, such as expired accounts.
