   The Southborough Library was founded in 1852. The present building was constructed in 1911 and enlarged in 1989.
   The Southborough Library is a member of the Central and Western Massachusetts Associated Resource Sharing (CWMARS) network, and thus, affiliated with over 150 libraries to share online resources and databases, participate in interlibrary loan and share training for library staff.

       We are managed by a 6-member elected Board of Library Trustees and have a large organization of Friends of the Library who help support programs and services.

       The Library is your community center, and is here to provide a quiet place to research, study and get your work done, and we host activities and events of culture and learning for all ages.
