April Events in the Children's Room






Preschool Story Time This story time is for children age 2-5 years and their parents or caregivers. Each week will feature stories and a craft based on a theme. Drop-in, no registration required.
10:30 AM
Mondays: April 3 and 10;
Tuesday: April 4 and 11;
Wednesdays: April 5 and 12.

 
Baby & Toddler Time for infants to 2-year-olds and their families: 11:00 AM on ThursdaysEach session will include puppets, stories, and music. Drop-in, no registration required.

Legos at the Library Build with LEGOS on WednedsdayApril 5, from
3:45-5:00 PM
. Children ages 4 and up are welcome, with a parent or caregiver. Registration is not required.


Art Workshop for Children
On SaturdayApril 8, from 10:30-12:00, children can stop by to
make a marionette.

David Garden On Saturday, April 15 @ 11:30 AM, David Garden from Music Together will be at the library with music that's just right for toddlers and preschoolers. All are welcome to dance and sing along! Drop-in, no registration required.

Rainforest Reptiles Thurdsay, April 20, 3:00 PM Children can come to the library to meet some animals of the rainforest!

Exploding Color Bubbles  Let's Gogh Art! will be at the library on Saturday, April 22 @ 10:30 AM, with Exploding Color Bubbles! This workshop includes a lesson about colors and a t-shirt project.
This program is for children ages 5-10 years old. Children must be registered to participate. Please contact the Children's Room for more information.

Story Art: Outer Space On Monday, April 24 @ 10:30 AM, Let's Gogh Art! will be at the library with a special program about space. This program includes a space-related story and two art projects.

Young Scientists Starting on Tuesday, April 25, from 11:30-12:30 PM, there will be a special enrichment program facilitated by STEM Beginnings. Children, ages 3-5, with a parent/caregiver will learn STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) concepts through hands-on activities. Registration is required.


Tales & Tails On Wednesday, April 26, from 6:15-7:15 PM, children can read to a dog! Children must have some reading ability. Registration is required. Please contact the Children's Room for more information.

Sign Language Stories & Songs With Sheryl White On Friday, April 28 @ 11:00 AM, this is
a special sign language program for infants through preschool age children.
